Why We Built This Site
Minnesota gives the public broad access to many court records and government data, including public data available under the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act and Minn. Stat. ยง 13.03. The hard part is figuring out which office holds the file you want. Meeker County Court Administration manages District Court records and certified court copies. The County Treasurer handles marriage licenses and certified marriage records. The Sheriff's Office and Jail maintain law enforcement and custody information. Add statewide systems such as Minnesota Court Records Online, the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension public criminal history search, and the Department of Corrections locator, and the picture gets crowded fast. We pull together the contact details, search portals, fee schedules, and request steps for each of these offices into one place.

Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
